4 Simple Ways to Fix Memory Card Corrupt Or Not Detected

SD card (SDCard) or commonly called the external memory device is one of the most needed at this time.

Despite many gadgets that have a large internal memory , users still need an external memory (MicroSD) for storing data.

Perhaps you have experienced memory problems illegible (damage), with memory illegible will certainly make it difficult to move the data contained in the memory.

How to Fix Memory Card Damaged or Not Detected

Method 1 : Clean the Memory Card

1. First aid to overcome the problem of memory card is not detected by removing the memory card from the gadget. Make sure you've turned off the gadget first.
2. Clean the copper plate (golden yellow) with a pencil eraser (which is white). Rub gently until clean.

1. Go to the menu Settings> Storage.
2. Inside the menu there is an option Erase SD card. 
3. By removing the SD Card, can make the memory clean as new.

Method 3: Check Error on PC

1. Connect your Android to your laptop or PC with a data cable.
2. Make sure you're connected Android in Mass storage mode (MSC), not Media transfer mode (MTP).
3. Open Windows Explorer, right-click on Drive memory card, select Properties> Tools> Error Checking, wait until all the process is complete.
4. Eject the memory card, and then check whether it has been read or not.

Method 4: Format By PC

If the memory card (MicroSD) read and look fine on the computer but still not readable on Android . 

Try using this method:

1. Create a new folder on Disk, give any name as long as you remember that this new folder will become a temporary storage place alias backup the contents of the memory card that was broken earlier.
2. Copy the entire contents of the memory card and then Paste into the folder that was created earlier.
3. If you are sure the copied all, format the memory card.
4. Then restore all the data in the folder into memory that has been formatted before.
5. Now check again, they failed or not.
6. If that fails as well, try to repeat the steps.
