Founded Batteries Super : Charge Few Seconds, Standby for a Week
Over the last few years we were treated with the development of a device that is so fast, but the one thing that seemed capable of participating developing: the battery!
Battery technology is evolving slowly, and this makes a variety of alternative solutions compelled to appear, ranging from banks to power technologies such as Quick Charge.
But researchers from the University of Central Florida (UCF) have found a super battery that seemed the most out of a battery.
Made of super-capacitor and 2D nanomaterial made of flexible material, this battery only takes in charge a few seconds to provide power to more than a week, as well as be in charge to more than 30,000 times!
For comparison, a standard Lithium-ion battery can only be charged 1,500 times up before they experience performance degradation or even destruction.
This means that in durability, super battery is 20x more durable than Lithium-ion batteries today.
But according to the UCF assistant professor, Yeonwoong "Eric" Jung, the battery is not yet ready to be commercialized.
However, Eric convinced that in the future this technology will replace the super battery, battery current standards, both for gadgets, electronics, and even electric vehicles.
Nah..how super battery technologies do you think of this .. ?? Share your opinion here.
